이 작가를 무척 좋아해요...
하라히데노리 만큼 드라마라는 장르를 잘 이해하고 표현하는 작가는 드문것 같아요.

그리고 다른 만화와는 다르게 현실을 여과없이 보여주는게 좋아요
만화를 가볍게 즐기고 싶은 분들은 이런 그의 스타일이 답답하고, 불편할수도 있겠지만 전 그 점이 하라히데노리의 가장 큰 장점이라고 생각해요

특히 그가 다루는 사랑이야기는 언제나 제 가슴속에 콕콕 박혀요
억지로 해피엔딩으로 끌고가지 않는점도 마음에 들고, 사랑을 시작하고 이별하는 연인들의 미묘한 심리 변화가 아주 현실적이면서 날카롭게 묘사되는데 정말 공감이 많이 되는 대사들과 장면이 많았어요.

처음 그의 만화를 접했을때는 주인공이 왜이리 하나같이 찌질할까? 라고 생각했는데 읽을수록 그게 우리가 감추고 싶어하는 진짜 본 모습이 아닐까라고 생각해게 됬죠.

다른 작품보다 끝맺음이 약간은 부족한 듯 싶었지만 그래도 두주인공의 사랑이야기는 어느 작품보다 좋았어요 ★★★★

만화가를 소재로 한 작품중 너무나 현실적이고 씁쓸하다. 하지만 이것만큼 만화가라는 직업군에 대입되어 공감하게 만드는 작품을 없을것이다.

무능하고 목표도 없는 주인공이 어쩌다가 만화가라는 직업을 선택하면서 느리지만 점점 성장하는 모습과 질투, 그리고 만화가로서의 성공하기 위한 선택에 의해 잃어버려야 했던 것들에 대해서 너무나 몰입했다. 이작품에 대해 읽은지 10년이 다되가는 지금도 잊혀지지 않는다 ★★★★★

만화가의 만화가 이야기.

+1) 주인공이 '노리코 이야기를 만화로 그려볼까'라는 생각을 하게 된 순간, 서늘한 느낌이 들면서도 불편한 공감대가 생기기도 하고, 여러 느낌을 갖게 하는 연출이 좋아요.

-1) 러브 라인이 정돈되지 않았고 엉성한 느낌마저 들어 아쉽네요. 초반부에 나오던 미치루라는 캐릭터는 단순히 주인공의 찌질함(?)을 부각하는 것 외에는 아무런 역할을 하지 못했고, 노리코와 이어지는 순간도 억지스럽습니다. ★★★
